Description:

Coat: No banding on coat – solid black

Undercoat: Black/gray undercoat

Legs and Face: Off white/peach/tan, however color often is pale to almost white in adult dogs

Facial Markings: Always extreme mask on face

Pigment: Dark Black

Eyes: Brown

Newborn or Puppy: Born almost solid black. Face black with very tiny "eyebrows".

Not a malamute, just a breed where the tan pigment does not wash out to white or off white. You can see the markings are identical.
